SPOILER FREE REVIEW OF POWER RANGERS COSMIC FURY.

Cosmic Fury hits Netflix on the 29th of September. The story of cosmic fury takes off directly after Dino fury ends in season two. The characters this time around have a more intimate relationship with each other due to the stakes and the obvious shortness of the season with only 10 episodes. Being only 10 episodes I was worried that it wouldn't give the meat of story and character development past seasons gave. Shockingly it does. The story is a full one with lots of surprises, twists and turns you may or may not see coming. Some land hard and some fall short because let's be completely honest. Nothing is perfect but Cosmic Fury definitely lands more than it falls.

My personal standout characters are Amiela (Hunter Deno), Ollie (Kai Moya), and Billy (David Yost). They do a lot of the heavy lifting throughout the season from character moments to emotional moments. But the MVP is definitely Hunter Denos, Amelia. She earns her spots as the newest Red Ranger and truly embodies what a leader is. She doesn't just step up to the plate and leads the team in battle, she leads them through tough situations dealing with personal challenges outside of ranger duties.

The battles this time around have stakes. It feels like they are fighting for a reason this time and not just to show off fancy weapons. Watching the 10 episode adventure will be a joy for any ranger fan.
